ABOUT OUR FOUNDER SWAMI NIRBHAYANANDA SARASWATIJI
He is a sought-after speaker in Karnataka, addressing hundreds of conferences for teachers and youths. He is an inspiration behind Ramakrishna Vivekananda activities in North Karnataka.
A graduate in science from the National College, Bangalore took sanyasa in 1993.He is always in the forefront in spreading the message of Shri Ramakrishna & Swami Vivekananda, a combined collaborative of traditional upanishad message with a modern appeal. Swamiji’s main contribution has been in the opening of Ramakrishna centers in all districts of north Karnataka almost and opening a rural residential school. He started Viveka-Deepti, a bi-monthly magazine in Kannada. He represented India in the 4th World Parliament of Religions held at Barcelona, Spain in 2004.
He is the youngest of hindu monks who have participated in the world parliaments held till now, with the only exception of Swami Vivekananda. Swami Nirbhayanandaji participated in an Interreligious dialogue organized by the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue, Vatican. Swamiji has toured extensively covering universities like Standford, Colorado, Genoa & Seoul. In addition, he has delivered discourses in the countries of Spain, USA, UK, France, Austria, Malaysia, Singapore, etc. addressing students community and discussed their burning issues. Swamiji was invited to participate in the 125 th anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago address UPF, a consultant for the economic & social council of the United Nations has conferred him the title Ambassador for Peace. Swamiji is an honorary member of the Italian Hindu Union. He frequently appears on television & his lectures on FM Radio about the subject of Indian Education System has gained tremendous popularity and are available on Swamiji’s official youtube channel. Swamiji’s bi-weekly editorials in Karnataka’s Prestigious Kannada daily newspaper Vijayavani are in widespread demand. He is a powerful speaker who has addressed the youth, teachers, professionals, etc and has made a powerful influence on them.
